Fundraising and Community.
We believe strong schools are built not only on great teachers and classrooms, but also on the support of the whole community. Each year, our P&C works hand-in-hand with parents, and inconsulation with the school, to fundraise for programs and resources that directly benefit every child.
Our 2025 Goal
This year, we are aiming to raise $75,000. These funds will go towards:
School Learning and Support Officers (SLSOs): providing invaluable one-on-one and small group learning support ($45,000)
Classroom technology: ensuring every student has access to the latest tools for learning, creativity, and digital literacy ($20,000)
Why It Matters
Education today looks very different from when we were at school. Interactive apps, online research, and collaborative projects are now part of everyday learning. Without up-to-date technology and extra learning support, our students risk falling behind.
Fundraising Through Community
We’re proud that our fundraising is built on connection and community. Each year we host a number of much-loved events, including:
Mother’s and Father’s Day breakfasts – celebrating the women and men who raise and support our kids.
Grandparents’ Morning Tea & Book Fair - an October tradition that brings together our extended families.
These events are more than fundraisers—they are opportunities for families to come together, celebrate, and strengthen our school spirit. Each year group helps to “host” one core event, supported by the P&C, giving parents the chance to connect and contribute in a meaningful way.
Every Contribution Counts
While $75,000 may sound ambitious, it’s achievable when everyone plays a part. We know families face financial pressures, which is why we focus on affordable, family-friendly events and creative fundraising ideas. Whether you buy a raffle ticket, attend a breakfast, or lend a hand on the day, your involvement makes a difference.
